Welcome Troy to the Salty Walrus team!

Last summer, Ian and Melissa ended Part 2 of the journey in Canton, MO. The time has come to pick up from there and head south!

Last month, Ian and Brent skipped ahead just a bit to Cape Girardeau with intentions of finishing in Memphis. It was a segment the guys really wanted to do together, but ultimately fell short of Memphis, ending their week in Tiptonville, TN.

Fast forward to today, Ian and Troy will do a bit of backtracking, paddling from Canton, MO to Cape Girardeau, MO. Should take about a week and we'll keep you updated on their progress. Good luck out there guys!

Update: Ian and Troy passed 2 lock and dams today. Lock and Dam 21 was an easy cruise around with a little help. Lock & Dam 22 was a different story as the guys waited over an hour to pass through. It was a long, hot day on the water with little wind. But, they've finally made it to their campsite for the night!
