After a half day and hotel stay, the guys were refreshed to start today! The weather was beautiful and the River was so calm you could see your reflection. Soon the guys were cruising at just under 8 mph. They knocked out the first 30 miles before noon, so they treated themselves to a little nap

However, the weather wasn't as kind to them on the last 22 miles of the day. They faced major humidity and the rain hit just as they were pulling into camp.

Overall, it was an amazing day.

Tomorrow will be exciting as the Salty Walrus will reach over 2000 miles traveled on the Mississippi River! The guys will also finish up the state of Mississippi! Crazy to think they'll reach the Gulf in less than a week!
